Coil / Spiral Binding London
Documents bound with coil / spiral can open completely flat on a desk and this method allows for 360-degree rotation of the bound pages.
Our coil binding comes with clear plastic front cover and a card and clear plastic back cover.
We can bind up to 275 sheets together (80 gsm paper).
We offer white and black spirals.
We offer spiral binding for documents of A4, A5, A6 and A3 size. A3 spiral/coil binding can be done on the short edge only.
We can also bind custom size documents up to A3 size.
If you have a few documents to print and bind, we can offer coil / spiral binding on the spot.
For large quantities of printing and binding, we offer same day plastic coil binding or coil binding within 24 hours.
All printed products can be collected from our Central London printing centre. We are open every day from 8.00 to 20.00 for enquiry. Printing and binding
If you need printing and binding, you can visit us at Elephant and Castle, Central London or email us your document and let us know:
– if you need colour or black and white printing
– if you need single- or double-sided printing
– you paper choice (thickness of paper, matt or silk)
– if you want your document printed full bleed
– what colour of plastic coil you need (black or white)
– if you need your document bound on the short or on the long edge.
We will come back to you with a quote.
Binding only
If you have your document already printed and you just need coil binding, please bring your document and let us know your binding requirements. We need to know:
– if you want the document bound on the short or long edge
– the colour of the coil you need (black or white)
Please, note that an order is considered placed only after the payment has been received. You can arrange the payment in person, over the phone or online.
The preferred file format for your documents is PDF but we also accept Word and Power Point documents.
Ideally, your documents should be designed with a resolution of 300 dpi. All important information should be placed 1-2 cm off edge and minimum 2 cm off the binding edge.
For full bleed documents, we need a bleed of 3mm.
We stock a wide range of paper and card. Choose paper or card with a thickness of 80 gsm to 350 gsm with silk or matt finish.
If you are not sure about the perfect paper for your document, you are welcome to come by and check our paper sample book.
Once printed your document can be bound with black or white coil.
We put clear plastic on the front and the back of the document and a card back as a standard.
If you have just a few documents to bind or to print and bind, we can do that on the spot. It is always good to give us a quick call before coming and check the waiting times.
You can also email us your documents and printing and binding requirements and collect them when ready. We offer same day printing and coil / spiral binding or for bigger amounts, the usual turnaround is 24 hours.
We are open every day including Saturday and Sunday and you can place and collect your orders over the weekend.
